Install and configure shadcn/ui for React Router.

Create project

npx create-react-router@latest my-app

Run the CLI

Run the shadcn-ui init command to setup your project:

npx shadcn@latest init

Add Components

You can now start adding components to your project.

npx shadcn@latest add button

The command above will add the Button component to your project. You can then import it like this:

app/routes/home.tsx

import { Button } from '~/components/ui/button';
 
import type { Route } from './+types/home';
 
export function meta({}: Route.MetaArgs) {
  return [
    { title: 'New React Router App' },
    { name: 'description', content: 'Welcome to React Router!' },
